  • 14th Annual Women in Technology Event - Boston, MA—On Wednesday, April 9th, Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT) will hold its 14th Annual Women in Technology (WIT) seminar at the college’s historic campus in the South End. More than 100 female high school students are expected to attend the event. WIT provides an opportunity to learn about the value of STEM education by hearing from accomplished women in technical fields and through interactive technology-based workshops and team activities.
  • 2015 Commencement Ceremony - Gov. Charlie Baker delivered the commencement address at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology’s (BFIT) 107thcommencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the college, located at 41 Berkeley Street in South End.   • Article about Benoit's Appointment on BostInno - The Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology rang in 2014 by appointing Anthony Benoit as the 12th president in the college's 106-year history on January 1. BFIT faced the sudden, sad loss of President George Chryssis in May of 2013. Benoit, who was then serving as the South End school's academic dean, was asked to fill in as interim president.
