Overview

Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology offers itsstudents the opportunity to compete in intercollegiate and intramuralathletics. Chargers Athletics will be launching our new programs beginning infall 2015. Programs offered will be men’s soccer and men’s baseball thatcompetes at the Division III level.

The school has active membership in the National Junior College AthleticAssociation (NJCAA) and participates in Region XXI, comprised of two-yearcolleges from the New England region. The conference boasts some of thestrongest competition in the country and makes all-conference and all-regionselections at the conclusion of each season. Try-outs for intercollegiateathletics are open to all students at BFIT. A student’s eligibility isdetermined by standards set forth by the NJCAA and BFIT. BFIT will assiststudent-athletes with recruiting efforts to continue their educational andathletic pursuits with remaining years of eligibility. The college is stronglycommitted to the progress of its student by providing exceptional instructionboth inside and outside of the classroom and anticipates strong performanceboth on and off the field.
