Yes, any guest entering the auditorium needs to present a ticket for admittance. All graduating students will receive three tickets during graduation rehearsal. Graduates needing additional tickets may request extra tickets during cap and gown distribution based on availability.

I missed graduation rehearsal. Where do I pick up tickets?

Any graduate who was unable to attend graduation rehearsal, and has already submitted their Petition to Graduate can pick up their tickets from Brett Wellman, Assistant Dean of Students (U-113)  by Monday May 8, 2017. Any tickets not picked up by Monday May 8th will be made available to students requesting extra tickets.

Is there parking?

Unfortunately there is no parking at BFIT, besides a few metered parking spots on Tremont Street, as we are located in a predominately residential area of the South End. There are a few parking garages nearby (Chinatown, Boston Common, Berkeley /Tremont St.). We encourage guests to take the MBTA, as we are located a few blocks away from both the Orange (Back Bay station) and Green (Arlington station) lines.

Who do I contact for handicap accessible seating?

Anyone requesting handicap accessible reserved seating should contact Brett Wellman, Assistant Dean of Students, by May 10, 2017 so that we can properly accommodate your request at bwellman@bfit.edu.

When is graduation over?

Graduation is approximately 2 hours in length, and is typically over around 12:00pm. There will be a reception with light refreshments immediately following in the BFIT lobby where graduates, families, faculty, and administration can get together and take pictures!

When do I get my diploma?

Graduates who have successfully completed their degree requirements and have satisfied their student account to ensure no holds, will receive their diploma on graduation day. Any graduate with a hold should make arrangements with the Registrar regarding mailing or picking up of diplomas.
