"Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology changed my life. I began at the age of 22 and did not see any hopes of graduating with a degree. But with the personalized attention and faculty who really care, I now have a Computer Engineering Degree and work at IBM, something I always dreamed of doing. The Office of Career Services facilitated this internship and it has had such an impact in my life. If it had not been for BFIT, my quality of life would not be what it is today. Thank you BFIT!"

Brian Bicknell	Dean of Students
	The Dean of Students administers the daily operations of the Department of Student Affairs encompassing Advising, Athletics, Residence Life and Housing, and Student Involvement and Leadership.
Rachel Arno	Director of Advising
	The Director of Advising supports students with their academic goals through advising, course registration, academic support, and academic success. Rachel holds a Master of Professional Studies degree in Human Resource Management from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with a concentration in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College. She previously worked at Stony Brook University first as a Residence Hall Director then as an Undergraduate College advisor where she provided academic advising, programming, and outreach support to first year students. Rachel is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), and National Orientation Directors Association (NODA). Rachel has been with BFIT since 2010.
Charlie Cremens	Director of Athletics
	The Director of Athletics manages all aspects of the athletic program and serves as Head Soccer Coach. Charlie holds a NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. He previously worked in constituency relations with the West Suburban YMCA, Massachusetts Senate President’s Office and National Association of Government Employees. Charlie is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Charlie has been with BFIT since 2007.
Jack Harari	Interim Director of Career Services
	The Interim Director of Career Services provides students and recent graduates with the tools necessary to enter the workplace with many advantages. His focus is establishing and maintaining relationships with industry partners to obtain internship and employment opportunities for college students and graduates. Jack is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He is a member of the Career Counselors Consortium, Boston Chamber of Commerce and Commonwealth Workforce Coalition. Jack has been with BFIT since 2011.
Brett Wellman	Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct
	The Director of Residence Life and Housing manages all aspects of Residence Life to ensure that the facility is safe, well maintained, and conducive to study. Brett has a Master of Science degree in Literacy Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education / English both from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. He has previously worked as a Residence Hall Director and Assistant Director of Residence Life in Western New York and the Greater Boston area, and returned back to Boston after working as a Student Conduct Coordinator in Dallas, TX. Brett is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and the Boston Area College Housing Association (BACHA). He is the Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee on the BACHA 2011-2012 Steering Board. Brett has been with BFIT since 2010.
Nick Pirelli	Director of Student Involvement and Leadership
	The Director of Student Involvement and Leadership manages the daily operations of student life. He engages students through student organizations, campus recreation, community events, leadership programs, and community service. He provides leadership for student life operations and its staff; provides planning and logistical support for major college events; manages the programming budget; training and supervision of staff; and developing initiatives for new Social Media. He serves on various college committees including Campus Beautification, Commencement, Student Affairs Advisory Board, and Crisis Management Team. He also serves as the advisor to the Student Government Association. Nick holds a Master of Science degree in Management with an emphasis in Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication, both from Bridgewater State University. He previously worked at Bridgewater State University as a community outreach coordinator, where he created strong collaborations between the University and local communities through an array of Civic Engagement projects. He is an active member of National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), Association for Experiential Education (AEE), and Massachusetts Campus Compact (MACC).
