Description of Duties:

Cox Engineering Service Division is seeking a Technical Sales Representative. This is a relatively new position being developed to support the growth of our existing customer/contract base. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of the HVAC industry and be eager to grow in the field. This position reports to the General Manager of the Service Division and is a perfect position for a new graduate as full training will be provided. As a Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for: • Generating estimates and proposals for the repair, replacement, retrofit and/or design of HVAC equipment and systems for our existing customer base • Following up on technical leads generated by New Business Development Representatives and assisting in nurturing new clients into long term customers • Managing award projects through coordination with vendors, subcontractors and Cox Engineering’s operations department • Verifying that correct equipment/materials are sent by vendors • Working productively and creatively with the service sales and operations group • Providing support to our existing customer base including assisting internal and external customers with any additional needs that they may have • Maintaining and nurturing new and existing customer relationships • Maintaining positive communications with all Cox Engineering Divisions to facilitate growth and opportunity for our company and our associates • Supporting the Service Group’s booking objectives at target gross profits in a timely and high-quality manner • Promoting sales and increasing market share by introducing company products and business solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a high level of technical HVAC expertise • Project a positive and professional image • Generate and present proposals • Highly motivated & organized • Great communication skills • Ability to work within a professional, team-oriented environment • Exceptional organizational skills • Self-starter, articulate, dependable • Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook • Ability to develop HVAC system solutions
