Description of Duties:

Your work with the Common Sensing Gocap will involve the following: - Technical work in our office assembling, testing, and packaging and shipping our product. We want to make an excellent first impression when customers open their product. - Troubleshooting issues that users experience. Must be excellent with iOS and/or Android and be able to take detailed notes. - Software testing our apps on multiple platforms and learn how to keep records that the FDA wants us to have on file. - Team support to several functional groups, including engineering, clinical research, design, and management with product development, business development, and administrative tasks. Given the breadth of this position, this is ideal for someone looking to get experience in multiple aspects of the medical device startup industry and develop relationships with both manufacturers and consumers. The position will begin as a 3-month internship. Based on performance during the internship, the position may become full-time, with lots of room for advancement and specialization as the company grows. The starting salary will be $30,000-$38,000/year, based on experience. It will increase based on performance and responsibilities. The position will include health insurance.

Required Qualifications:

This position requires no previous formal experience, and we appreciate a wide range of backgrounds and education. If you join us, we expect you to: - Have people skills. This position will involve interfacing with our team and customers. The better the relationships you build, the more successful you will be in this role. - Be fluent in computers and technology. Use of computers is essential, Microsoft Office programs, Cloud storage like Box or Dropbox, Android or iOS cell phones, teleconferencing tools like Skype or Google Hangouts. A bit of experience with IT systems or programming is a huge plus. - Be reliable from day 1. Our customers and team will depend on you. - Take initiative.
