Career Fairs & College Transfer Workshops

Career Fair and College Transfer Workshops

Career Fairs

To help defray the cost of college, many of our students seek part-time employment during the school year. Each fall, the Office of Career Services and Industry Partnerships, hosts a Part-Time Job Fair to provide students with the opportunity to meet employers seeking part-time staff. Our 2015 Job Fair attracted over 40 leading employers and over 100 students.  This year, the fair is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2016.

As a career college, our primary goal is to prepare our students for careers in industry and to introduce students to employment opportunities related to their field of study.  With this in mind, our signature event to connect our students with employment opportunities at leading industry companies is the BFIT Annual Career Fair which will be held this spring on Thursday, March 23, 2017.  Employers interested in attending any of these events should please contact Steve O'Leary, Associate Director at

College Transfer Workshops

For students considering a four-year degree, the office of Career Services and Industry Partnerships hosts two separate College Transfer Weeks during which time we host various workshops for students seeking to continue their education post-graduation. We review the transfer process and provide information about various colleges and programs to which students typically transfer, including BFIT Bachelor’s Degree programs.
