As a career college, our primary goal is to prepare our students for careers in industry and to introduce students to employment opportunities related to their field of study.  We host a variety of recruitment events to build awareness among our students about local companies and post-graduation employment.

Career Fairs

Spring Career Fair

Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 11am-2pm
This is our biggest recruiting event of the year. Employers can connect with our diverse pool of talented students from all our technical programs.

Construction Career Fair

Thursday, October 12, 2023, 11am-1pm
Our Construction Career Fair allows employers to recruit for summer internships and full-time entry-level roles within the Construction industry, as well as opportunities in electrical engineering and HVAC.

EMPLOYERS: We typically invite students of all academic levels to our career fairs. This means brand new students, those in the middle of their program, and soon-to-be graduates. We also outreach alumni. Employers will be able to connect with our best and brightest students. This is an opportunity for students to gain exposure to your company as well as apply to open positions. Registration is closed for this event.

STUDENTS: This event is geared towards the construction industry. Attending employers hope to connect with student in Construction Management, with a few specific opportunities for Electrical Engineering and HVAC students. This event is an important opportunity to connect with employers. You’ll want to attend this Career Fair if it’s your very first semester or your last one at the college. Please do company research, come dressed to impress and have a polished resume ready for the big day! Automotive Career Fair

Thursday, November 16, 2023, 11am-1pm
Our Fall Automotive Alternative Pathways Fair is designed to help employers connect with students in relation to nontraditional career paths in the automotive industry. Registration is closed for this event.

Employer-Sponsored Lunch & Learns and Interviews

We arrange for employers to meet with students to promote opportunities at their companies and conduct interviews. If you are employer interested in sponsoring a lunchtime presentation to our students or conducting interviews, please email Michael Felix at careers@franklincummings.edu
