Career Counseling and Resources
The mission of the Office of Career Services at BFIT is to provide students and graduates with the tools necessary to enter the workplace with every advantage. In addition to attending workshops and onsite events, the OCS is available to provide personalize assistance to our students with: career exploration and planning; preparing for the job search; internship placements; finding employment in fields related to their major areas of study; and the application process to continue their education.
Individual one-on-one Career Counseling
To schedule an appointment contact Jack Harari, Associate Director of Career Services and Industry Partners at 617-588-1379 or email@example.com, or Emily LeFevre, Student Employment Specialist at 617-588-1338 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
- An internship can often be an integral part of a student’s educational experience. Several of our majors including Biomedical Electronics, Opticianry and Ophthalmic Assisting incorporate an internship/externship as part of the course requirements. In those instances, placements are arranged by the OCS.
- On occasion, other employers may notify us of internship opportunities and those will be listed on the Job Board.
