Career Counseling and Resources
The mission of the Office of Career Services at BFIT is to provide students and graduates with the tools necessary to enter the workplace with every advantage. In addition to attending workshops and onsite events, the OCS is available to provide personalize assistance to our students with: career exploration and planning; preparing for the job search; internship placements; finding employment in fields related to their major areas of study; and the application process to continue their education.
Petition to Graduate
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Students are required to complete this confidential Graduate Exit Survey before the Department of Career Services is able to sign your Petition to Graduate form. The information you provide will assist Career Services in helping our graduates with their search for employment and other post-graduation plans.
Graduate Exit Survey
To complete the form, you will need your student ID (A00000...) found on the student portal (not your ID). See Career Services if you need assistance. Students--who have not yet either secured employment in their field of study or been accepted by a school with plans to enroll this fall semester--must sign up to attend one of the upcoming Job Search & Application Workshops.
Once you have submitted this online form, please stop by the Career Services Office to sign up for a workshop and have your form signed. Thank you.

- An internship can often be an integral part of a student’s educational experience. Several of our majors including Biomedical Electronics, Health Information Technology, Opticianry, and Ophthalmic Assisting incorporate an internship/externship as part of the course requirements. In those instances, placements are arranged by the OCS.
- Other non-academic paid internship opportunities exist for students, including the MSADA Automotive Summer Internship and the PlumChoice Call-Center Summer Internship. Interested students should contact OCS.
- On occasion, other employers may notify us of internship opportunities and those will be listed on the Job Board.
