How to Apply for Admission
All applicants must complete the Application for Admission included in our information packet or on-line. The application must be submitted with the required $25 processing fee ($50 for international students) to the Office of Admissions. Application fees are not refundable. Official high school or secondary school records/transcripts or official GED scores must be submitted before the application can be processed. Please have your high school guidance counselor or high school records office send official copies of your transcripts to BFIT. If you are seeking transfer credit from another college, please have official transcripts sent to us.
Because applications are processed on a rolling basis, applicants are notified of their admission status shortly after all required documents have been received. All offers of conditional admission require the applicant's successful completion or submission of the items listed in his/her acceptance letter (e.g., high school diploma or its equivalent, assessment test, etc.). Official final secondary school transcripts are required in order to complete an applicant's file and initiate the registration process.
In addition to the above requirements, all full-time applicants must submit vaccination records upon their acceptance to the College. Applicants must also schedule a math and English test to determine placement into courses. Students with math and/or English transfer credit may be exempt from testing.
