Making College Affordable
Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology believes that finances
should never prevent students from seeking higher education. Through its
financial aid programs, BFIT has made it possible for thousands of
students to pursue their dreams. In fact, close to 90% of our students
receive some type of financial assistance. We award more than $2 million
annually in financial aid. At BFIT, we combine federal, state, and
institutional aid programs to create a financial aid package that is
designed to help every student afford a BFIT education. In order to be
considered for Financial Aid at BFIT, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
must be completed. Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology’s federal
school code is 002151. We recommend filing your annual FAFSA as close to October 1st as possible.
The Financial Aid Office is located within the Office of Enrollment
Management. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Walk-ins are welcome, or you may schedule an appointment by contacting
the Financial Aid Office by phone at 617-588-1368 or by e-mail at
Note: BFIT cannot guarantee that we will meet your need in full.
Financial aid is contingent on timeliness of your application, federal
and state regulations, and availability of funds.
