"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest" - Benjamin Franklin
As one of the most affordable private colleges in Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT) is committed to making higher education financially feasible for our students. Through this commitment the college awards more than $2 Million in financial aid and scholarships to more than 90 percent of our students. As an accredited, non-profit college, BFIT awards financial aid programs including grants, scholarships, as well as student and parent loans.
The only application that is required to apply for financial aid is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through the U.S. Department of Education. The priority funding deadline to qualify for the maximum financial aid award is May 1st.
The college offers a variety of scholarships and grants. The Franklin Assistance Grant ranges up to $5,000 per academic year to cover the gap up to your estimated family contribution determined based on the information you included in your FAFSA.
The Financial Aid Office is located within the Office of Enrollment Services. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Walk-ins are welcome, or you may schedule an appointment by contacting the Financial Aid Office.
