Eric Larsen

Assistant Professor Eric Larsen, RA, CSI, CDT, LEED AP, has over 20 years experience in the design and construction industry. Starting in 1992 Professor Larsen worked for an architectural and engineering firm in Boston for eight years, specializing in commercial and industrial projects. After leaving the A/E firm he went to work for a real estate development and construction company in Cambridge for two years, working on various commercial developments. He then left to work for a builder/developer in Southeastern Massachusetts for two years as a project manager/superintendent for multi-family housing projects.  In 2003 Professor Larsen started his own firm focusing on residential design and construction, adding commercial and industrial projects in 2005. Professor Larsen's early training was focused on a strong foundation in technical skills, and he feels that the program at the college will provide students with the same foundation. Professor Larsen graduated from the Boston Architectural College with a Bachelors of Architecture and is a Registered Architect in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. He has also earned a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP) accreditation from the United States Green Building Council, along with a certificate of Construction Document Technologies from the Construction Specification Institute.
