  • "Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology changed my life.  I began at the age of 22 and did not see any hopes of graduating with a degree.  But with the personalized attention and faculty who really care, I now have a Computer Engineering Degree and work at IBM, something I always dreamed of doing.  The Office of Career Services facilitated this internship and it has had such an impact in my life.  If it had not been for BFIT, my quality of life would not be what it is today.  Thank you BFIT!"

Student Government Association (SGA)

Mission

The Student Government Association will work as a team to represent the student voice by listening to student input and turning their suggestions into successful actions.  SGA will also bridge the gap between student concerns and faculty/staff awareness of those concerns.

 

Getting Involved

Students attending BFIT are can be nominated by students, faculty, and staff to join the SGA.  Nominations are based upon proven leadership skills, academic focus, and dedication to the college.

 

Student Voice

Members of SGA provide student voice on the following executive committees and boards at BFIT:

  • Campus Beautification
  • Marketing
  • NEASC: Standard 2
  • NEASC: Standard 6
  • Student Affairs Advisory Board
