All members of the community are expected to confront any act of bias-related violence, harassment, or intimidation which may occur.

Definition
The college defines bias-related violence, harassment, or intimidation as any verbal, written, or physical contact that is based on upon race, gender and/or gender identity or expression, color, religious, age, national origin, ethnicity, disability, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, marital status, citizenship status, or any other legally protected basis.

This policy is not designed to infringe upon anyone’s freedom of expression. Students, faculty, staff, and guests should be aware that protected freedom of expression ends when prohibited bias-related violence, intimidation or harassment begins at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology.
