  • "Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology changed my life.  I began at the age of 22 and did not see any hopes of graduating with a degree.  But with the personalized attention and faculty who really care, I now have a Computer Engineering Degree and work at IBM, something I always dreamed of doing.  The Office of Career Services facilitated this internship and it has had such an impact in my life.  If it had not been for BFIT, my quality of life would not be what it is today.  Thank you BFIT!"

Residence Hall Closings

Residence Hall Closings 2011-2012

The Residence Hall at 40 Berkeley will be closed to BFIT residential students during the following periods. Please make note of these dates and make appropriate arrangements ahead of time.

Winter Recess Closing: Friday December 16, 2011 at 12:00pm
Spring Semester Opening: Sunday January 15, 2012 at 12:00pm

Spring Break Closing: Friday March 2, 2012 at 12:00pm
Spring Break Opening: Sunday March 11, 2012 at 12:00pm

End of the Year Closing: Friday May 4, 2012 at 12:00pm*

*Students should plan to depart 24 hours after their last final, or by Friday May 4, 2012.

Students must visit the Director of Residence Life with any conflicts or concerns regarding the above dates. Any student petitioning to stay during closing breaks must fill out the Housing Break Petition Form. The Dean of Student Affairs must approve any exceptions to this policy.
