  • "Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology changed my life.  I began at the age of 22 and did not see any hopes of graduating with a degree.  But with the personalized attention and faculty who really care, I now have a Computer Engineering Degree and work at IBM, something I always dreamed of doing.  The Office of Career Services facilitated this internship and it has had such an impact in my life.  If it had not been for BFIT, my quality of life would not be what it is today.  Thank you BFIT!"

Student Health Insurance

Under the provisions of Chapter 23, Section 22, of the 1988 Massachusetts Health Security Act, each institution of higher education must require students taking nine or more credits to participate in the student health insurance program or submit waiver information showing participation in a health insurance program with comparable coverage.

If students already have comparable health insurance, they can complete a Health Insurance Waiver form at www.chpstudent.com. This website will be available for students interested in waiving the college health insurance plan. The deadline to waive student health insurance is Tuesday, September 27, 2011.
