  • "Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology changed my life.  I began at the age of 22 and did not see any hopes of graduating with a degree.  But with the personalized attention and faculty who really care, I now have a Computer Engineering Degree and work at IBM, something I always dreamed of doing.  The Office of Career Services facilitated this internship and it has had such an impact in my life.  If it had not been for BFIT, my quality of life would not be what it is today.  Thank you BFIT!"

Health Promotion

About Health Promotion

Good health is a vital component of every student's college experience. Health is more than the absence of physical illness. Health incorporates all the components of wellness: physical, emotional, spiritual, and social concerns.  We will provide you with supportive care and information whether you have a health emergency, a specific concern, or just not sure of how to take care of yourself.

How to Achieve Good Health

  • Regular exercise
  • Good nutrition
  • Rest/sleep
  • Stress Reduction
  • Positive Attitude
  • Limit use of alcohol and other drugs
  • Don't smoke

Students are provided with health insurance at the time of matriculation. The charge for heath insurance is reflected on the tuition bill. Students have the option of waving their right to the student health plan if they carry separate insurance or are claimed as a dependent through another individual’s health plan.
