  • "Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology changed my life.  I began at the age of 22 and did not see any hopes of graduating with a degree.  But with the personalized attention and faculty who really care, I now have a Computer Engineering Degree and work at IBM, something I always dreamed of doing.  The Office of Career Services facilitated this internship and it has had such an impact in my life.  If it had not been for BFIT, my quality of life would not be what it is today.  Thank you BFIT!"

FYE - A New Student Orientation

What is FYE?

The First Year Experience (FYE) is a 2-day new-student orientation designed to assist students in the successful transition to college.  Students taking part in this experience complete the first portion of the “Student Success and Career Seminar,” a graduation requirement.  In addition, students will become acquainted with their program of study, meet key faculty, staff and their advisor.  FYE creates opportunities for new students to build lasting friendships with classmates, strengthen their academic preparedness, learn about resources at the college, and what to expect in college-level classes.
