College Email & Lifetime Email Forwarding
Your BFIT Email Address
As a student of the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, there are lots of great benefits available to you. One such benefit is Lifetime Email Forwarding, a free service that automatically forwards your BFIT email account to any email account you designate. You have the flexibility to change email accounts by logging into My Portal.
WHAT’S MY SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS?
You can find your school email address by visiting BFIT’s online email update form at:
http://www.bfit.edu/mailforward
Please have your name, date of birth and SSN or Student ID ready, as
these will be required to access and update your account information.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
All mail sent to your school address will be automatically forwarded
to a personal email account of your choosing. Until you setup your
personal forwarding address using BFIT’s online email update form, email
sent to your school address will not be delivered.
You can review and update your personal forwarding address anytime by visiting BFIT’s online email update form at:
http://www.bfit.edu/mailforward
When you update your personal forwarding address using the form, you
will receive an email at your personal forwarding address confirming the
change and containing important account information. Please allow up
to an hour for this message to arrive. If after an hour you still
haven’t received a confirmation email, please check your spam
folder(s). If you still don’t receive a confirmation email or have any
problems with the update form, please contact Student Affairs for
support.
WHAT IF MY PERSONAL FORWARDING ADDRESS CHANGES?
If your personal forwarding address changes, you will need to update
your personal forwarding address using BFIT’s online email update form
to continue to receive school email at your new address. You can review
and update your personal forwarding address at anytime.

Your BFIT Student Portal Account
You have been assigned a username and password which you can use to access the BFIT student portal website.
You can find your portal username and password by visiting BFIT’s online email update form at:
https://mailforward.bfit.edu/
Please have your name, date of birth and SSN or Student ID ready, as
these will be required to view your account information. You will be
shown your username and password after verifying your identity. Please
write this information down.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE STUDENT PORTAL?
You can access the Student Portal by visiting at the top of this page.
WHAT IF I HAVE TROUBLE LOGGING IN?
If you have trouble logging into the student portal, you can click
the "Forgot Password" link on the Student Portal login page to reset
your password. You will be asked to provide an email address. Please
enter your school email address in this field.
If you are still unable to access your account after resetting your password, please contact Student Affairs for support.
