Why Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology?

Many students are being more strategic about their choices and investment in higher education. In fact, national studies are revealing new trends in college educated graduates; namely that students with Associate Degrees in the fields of STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math) are out earning graduates of Bachelor programs in the Humanities.

So where does Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology fit into the landscape of higher education? As a small private college, we prepare students for jobs in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math (STEM). Our strategic approach to curriculum design and hands-on learning means that you are learning the skills that companies need and actively seek. Despite the national unemployment rate at 7.5% (as of April 2013), there are still some estimated 3.2 million jobs that go unfilled because companies can’t find qualified candidates to fill them. As a college, our goal is to remedy this problem by focusing on STEM education and partnering with industry to ensure that our graduates have the most relevant skills to land the job, and to succeed in the workplace.

Our record proves that we are incredibly successful in this goal. 90% of our graduates find a job in their field or decide to continue their education. Use the links below to learn more about what we have to offer:
