Every application to Benjamin Franklin Institute is carefully
reviewed by the Admissions Committee. The factors that the Admissions
Committee reviews include prior academic performance, extracurricular
activities and involvement, community service, and leadership
characteristics. Applicants are advised to submit documents to support
their application including letters of recommendations, standardized
test scores (GED, ACT, or SAT), and a personal statement. If you are
seeking transfer credit from another college, please have your official
college transcripts sent to us, along with course descriptions of the
classes that you had successfully completed with a grade of C or better.
Interviews are not required for admission to the college, but they
are recommended. Often an interview with a member of the admission
staff, and a tour, will help you discover if Benjamin Franklin Institute
of Technology is a good match for you. Opportunities to sit in on a
class and spend time with a current student are also available.
Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology reviews applications on a
rolling basis for September and January starts. Students are encouraged
to complete their applications as soon as possible.
