The employment growth projections for opticians continue to rise. This is the only program of its kind in Massachusetts and our graduates have an astonishingly high pass rate of 95% on the American Board of Opticians and National Contact Lens Examiners exams!

Students spend time in our contact lens clinic and optical shop that are designed to create a real-world working environment.

Students will learn the necessary skills to fabricate and finish prescription eyewear. Students are also exposed to modern-edging, blocking, beveling, tempering and pattern making techniques as well as machinery maintenance. 

Curriculum:

The two-year curriculum is comprehensive in design and has been modeled after opticianry accredited programs from across the country. The curriculum is periodically reviewed by the National Federation of Opticianry Schools (NFOS).
